What's Going On??
Oooooh, one does enjoy a good back scrub in dirt - free exfoliation courtesy of Mother Nature:)
Meanwhile, what to report?
There's an air of secrecy around the household these days. I catch Muttie and Paw whispering away then, when I stroll into the vicinity, they change the subject. Muttie will say something like: "So, petrol's gone up another 10p eh?" And I just know their current conversation isn't related to what they were speaking about previously.
Also, on Saturday, Muttie bought a packet of Hill's extra-special cat food...the KITTEN variety!! Now, I might be small for an adult male cat - and rather muscular I might add - but I ain't no kitten. Fatboy says I'm just being paranoid and maybe they're just trying to keep me on my paws. But I'm not so sure.
Also, Muttie's cancelled all engagements for the last weekend in June. And she and Paw are planning to sleep in separate rooms. Apparently I've to sleep with Paw. But who's Muttie going to be sleeping with? Not that I particularly want to sleep with her 'cos boy can she snore! But it's the principle, ya know...
Anyway, sorry, I know this isn't a particularly informative post but I'm just wondering if you blogging buddies can shed any light?
Your much-maligned Milt x

ReplyDeleteOh Milton!! Awwww Milton you sweetie!!!
ReplyDeleteHow does the sound of the tiny pitter patter of paws other than yours sound like?? Doesn't that make you go all gooey inside?? OH I bet it does!!! Oh yes!!
Fatboy knows. Maybe if you give him an extra cuddle instead of beating him up, he'll tell you! LOL!

ReplyDelete'Fraid to say it, but it's either kittens or castration, for sure..
ReplyDeleteA kitten wouldn't be so bad - as the eldest, you'd still be boss. Hope the mystery's resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteXX
Oh Milton, just what I suspected....
ReplyDeleteA KITTEN!
I mean, TBH, I dont think having a kitten would be that bad. I mean, you'd still be the boss, cuz your eldest. Like me and Jimmy. I'm the boss. I was in the house first. Paaah, that shows siblings to respect their elders.
Hope that you get some inspiration next time you write your blog, you dont seem yourself when your blog isnt insanely long and hilarious, not that this one wasnt interesting...
Frankie xxxx
HI Milton,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you!!
It does sound like you'er going to have a kitten to take care of and to teach. You will enjoy teaching a kitten all you know.
Come back sooner next time OK??

Wondering if the new arrival came early...you and Muttie are in my thoughts! Love, Janine XO
ReplyDeleteDear Milty,
ReplyDeleteMay I offer my sympathies, as it does appear your people may be bringing a kitten or two into YOUR house.
However, I will HAPPILY trade whatever little monsters they adopt for the two terrorists that have invaded my once peaceful domicile. Bode and Emma - two little 4 pound furballs of frenetic energy, bad manners, and disgusting toilet habits. Morkies, my Ethel says they are. Terrorists, I say.
My advice is to find a high retreat, gather all your toys and chewy things, and generally just observe the new arrivals for a few days. You should very quickly be able to ascertain whether or not they are evil or will accept your terms of seniority. If they do not accept, I would further advise you to pack them a lunch in a red bandanna on a stick and just kinda...leave the back door open. "Whoops! Accident!"
Yours very truly,
Spooky
You came back, thank you!! My son says If you want me to cook for you, come to the restaurant. But the place he works is 7 hours away on a good day!! We don't get down there too often and he doesn't come home to often!! So I only see him every few years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the praise about the quilt. Something very special came out of her after her lost. The quilt was really above her level.

Hi at last Milt buddy..its been ages (family probs)..reading your blog its gotta be the patter of tiny paws as they say...i feel for you matey, since 'young un' got here..i get little peace..showing him the ropes, teaching him to hunt..you know the score..but i'm fighting a losing battle!! last week a kid knocks Ma's door & asked if she owned the all black cat..Ma said 'yes, Why'?...'because he has run off with our ball and jumped over your fence with it'..sure enough there he was in the garden chasing it around..if it moves he will have it...not mice or anything intelligent cats would kill..he has to kill crisp packets and balls !!..i am losing my street cred big time.
ReplyDeleteBy th way it is Bailey commenting again Milt...missed you & your News..take care buddy
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you came again!!!
